This site is an archive of all the messages posted to the SMAUG Mailing List. Messages sent to the mailing list are collected and then posted to the archive nightly. Once a message is archived it is available for browsing and searching.
A complete archive of over 40,000 messages is now online for searching. The
messages are divided into separate directories based on the year they were written.
You can limit the search to a specific year by selecting the year in the 'Search
Through' field on the search page.

To join the mailing list, send an email to smaug-request@realms.game.org containing the word "subscribe" in the message body.
You will receive an automatic reply telling you that your request has been forwarded to the owner of the "smaug" list for approval. All requests are approved once a week and you will receive a second message when you have been approved. Until then you can see all posts to the list by browsing either the Chronological or Threaded archive at this site.
To post mail to the SMAUG Mailing list just address it to smaug@realms.game.org.
To remove yourself from the SMAUG Mailing List send an email to smaug-request@realms.game.org and put the word "unsubscribe" in the message body.
